Prepare to Brawl in League of Legends!
What is Brawl?
Brawl is a unique 5v5 game mode that takes place in its own special map, the Bandlewood. Its smaller size and altered gameflow provide a different-but-familiar venue to practice your team dynamics in a fast, fun way.
How It Works
Each team starts with 250 Health, and your goal is to reduce the enemy team's shared Health to 0.
Both sides still spawn waves of minions, but unlike Summoner's Rift you aren't aiming for a Nexus. Instead, you lower enemy Health through the following actions:
| Action | Damage Dealt |
|---|---|
| Takedown an enemy champion | 5 damage |
| Takedown an enemy minion (this stops dealing damage at a certain health threshold) | 1 damage |
| Sending minions through the enemy's portal | 1 damage per minion |
There are also several other other basic differences:
- Though you'll see many familiar faces in the jungle, you won't find epic monsters like Dragon, Void Grubs, Herald, or Baron.
- There are no turrets, inhibitors, or Nexuses (Nexii?).
- Passive income and experience growth are cranked way up.
- No surrender! Teams that are losing badly get a special comeback buff, so there's always a shot at victory.
